Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Puts Hajin in Focus

For players following the latest details through 12BET Official, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 has revealed the first gameplay information for its returning DMZ mode. The mode once again centers on extraction-based PvPvE action, sending players into the quarantine zone of a dedicated map called Hajin. Once deployed, squads must complete objectives, secure valuable loot and then attempt to escape with everything they have collected. The journey will not be straightforward, as AI-controlled enemies patrol the environment while rival players can also appear without warning.

Hajin is divided into areas with different threat levels, giving players more freedom to decide how much risk they want to take during each deployment. Newer or less-equipped squads can begin by searching lower-threat locations for weapons and supplies before moving toward more dangerous zones that offer stronger rewards and tougher objectives. For now, there are no plans to introduce a separate PvE-only version of DMZ, meaning encounters with other players will remain an important part of the experience.

DMZ also features its own progression system with a maximum level of 70. As progression details available through 12BET Official make clear, leveling up will unlock new facilities and crafting recipes for the Frontline Operations Base while players continue earning standard player XP and weapon XP at the same time. The base acts as the central preparation area where operators, storage, missions and deployment equipment can all be managed before entering Hajin again.

Progress is influenced by nearly everything players do during a deployment. Exploration, combat, looting and mission completion all contribute to advancement, giving each run a sense of purpose even when the final extraction does not go according to plan. At the end of every deployment, players receive an after-action report showing their performance rating and progression results regardless of whether they successfully escaped. In other words, coming home empty-handed does not necessarily mean the entire run was for nothing.

The developers also plan to provide a more detailed look at the Frontline Operations Base in future reveals. Previously released footage briefly teased additional content that may arrive in later seasons, including new bosses and possible map expansions. These additions suggest that DMZ is being designed as an evolving mode rather than a fixed experience available only at launch.

As more seasonal content becomes available through updates followed on 12BET Official, DMZ could continue expanding beyond Hajin’s initial objectives and extraction routes. With escalating danger zones, independent progression, base management and the constant uncertainty created by both AI forces and rival squads, the mode is shaping up to reward careful preparation as much as quick reactions in the field.
